FAQS
(1) How long before my order ships?
Most orders will ship in 2-5 days and depending on shipping method selected.
(2) How to keep my candle looking it's best?
We recommend to NOT store in direct sunlight or fluorescent lighting.
(3) Do I need to trim my wick?
Absolutely! signs your wick needs to be trimmed: Mushrooming and at any point the flame gets to big and "smoking" or "sooting" or "excessive" flickering. extinguish the flame and trim wick to 1/4 " and re-light.
(4) What if my candle is leaving a "ring" of wax on the side?
This is usually caused by not burning the candle long enough for the melt pool to reach the edge of the vessel (3-5 hours) or being placed near a vent which causes the wick to burn differently. Usually the candle will self-correct as it burns down.
(5) How should I extinguish my candle?
Try to avoid blowing it out as you may blow hot wax out of the container. It is preferred to use a "candle snuffer", if one is not available then you may use the lid to suffocate the flame if it is fire/flame resistant.
(6) What days do you ship?
Typically it is preferred to ship the first of the week. especially during the summer months as candle can be damaged by high heat (delivery trucks can reach the melt point on most waxes)
Due to this risk we can not be held responsible as melted wax is not covered by USPS, FedEx, etc
Also this policy lowers the risk of your shipment spending time over the weekend in a warehouse or truck.
(7) What if an item is damaged or defective when it arrives?
Our goal is your satisfaction, If your product is damaged during shipping, Please send us a message via our "Contact Us' form on our website, Please keep all original package and packaging materials in case we need it returned to us.
(8) Can I refill my candle vessels when they are empty?
Unfortunately glass weakens with use, therefore it is not recommended that candle jars be re-used as candles, However they do make great containers for items around the house once cleaned.
(9) Why do candles say to stop using when 1/2" of wax remains in the bottom?
This is a safety issue as glass gets hot on the bottom as the wick nears the base. It can cause cracking, breaking or damage underneath the glass. It is also recommended that candles are burned on a heat resistant surface to prevent damage to surfaces.
